Dr. Flemister is a 1991 Graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his orthopaedic training at The State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse in 1996 and a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Tampa Orthopaedic Program in 1997. After practicing for five years at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY Dr. Flemister joined the University of Rochester Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. He is currently a Professor in the division of Foot and ankle specializing in all aspects of adult and adolescent foot and ankle disorders. He has extensive experience in sports injuries and complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle.
