Kenneth J. Hunt MD is Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado (CU). He took the position of Foot and Ankle Section Chief at CU in October 2015 having transitioned from Stanford University where he was team physician for Stanford Athletics and managed foot and ankle injuries for several bay area professional sports franchises.
Dr. Hunt has a clinical practice focused on sports injuries to the foot and ankle and correction of foot and ankle arthritis and deformities. He is team physician and foot and ankle consultant for University of Colorado Athletics, the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche.
Dr. Hunt’s research focus is on sports injuries and surgical treatment outcomes. He currently serves as Chair of the Managerial Board of the AOFAS Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Outcomes Research Network (OFAR), a national consortium of sites and outcomes registry platform standardizing patient outcomes assessment and optimizing treatment outcomes in foot and ankle surgery.
He is also a member of the AOFAS research committee and AOFAS research council. In addition, Dr. Hunt serves as deputy Chair of the ISAKOS Leg, Ankle Foot Committee and on the Program committee for the ISAKOS 2017 and 2019 Congress’.
