Dr. Norah Foster is an Orthopaedic Surgery resident at Duke University Medical Center. She attended medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Upon completion of her orthopaedic residency in June of 2015, she plans to further her training with a spine fellowship.
Her research pursuits include projects involving radiographic findings in the cervical spine, helicopter transport of spinal injury patients, and body fat distribution and physical function. She is interested in health policy and recently completed the Health Policy Lecture Series sponsored by the Duke University Medical Center and Fuqua School of Business.
Dr. Foster is also a strong proponent for international medical collaboration and service having participated in a medical mission trip to Kampala, Uganda in September, 2013.
